The swivel action allows a lateral feel with independent shoulder lift. The Heirloom Legacy Bit is recommended for horses already working in a leverage bit or are transitioning to a shank bit. The Heirloom focuses on helping riders achieve a great feel and timing with signals that are consistent for better communication with the horse. The solid mouthpiece is slightly curved and the flatter port is comfortable for the horse, with plenty of room for the tongue. The bars are rounded to the shank corners to eliminate pinching. The mouthpiece is made of sweet iron to encourage salivating and softening.
