Gorgeous saddle and awesome buying experience!
When I decided I wanted the Julie Goodnight Wind River saddle, I called Circle Y to see if it was available, and they said they wouldn't be able to get one to me for at least 9 months. They told me to contact Mary's Tack to find out if they had one in stock, and I'm so glad I did! The manager was very helpful in assisting me with my order, allowing me to reserve the saddle until it came in a few months later. It was hard waiting for it to arrive, but Mary's Tack made the whole process so easy (and special thanks to Madison and Olivia for answering my questions and helping me find a matching headstall!). I can't say enough good things about this company. They were so patient and helpful throughout the ordering process, and you just can't get that kind of customer service with major retailers. As for the saddle itself, it's worth every penny. With beautiful craftsmanship and excellent quality leather, you can tell it will stand the test of time. I've only been riding in it for about a month, now, but I can't imagine being without it. The memory foam seat makes all the difference, and the narrow twist and pre-turned stirrups help keep me balanced, which allows my horses to perform better, too. It's so comfortable and so functional, I don't even think about it when I'm riding. The day after I rode in it for the first time (which was after a month-long riding hiatus) I couldn't even tell I had gone riding. My legs weren't fatigued at all. I ordered the walnut oil in a regular tree (semi-quarter horse bars), and with that little bit of give the Flex2 tree offers, I'm able to use it on all three of my horses with minimal changes in padding. My horses have defined withers with normal backs (not too wide, but certainly not narrow), and the saddle fits them all great. The two latigos make adjusting the cinch position easy, and the 3-way rigging is another fantastic feature I didn't even realize I needed. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this saddle, or with the company that I purchased it from. Thank you so much, Mary's Tack, for a wonderful shopping experience!
