If your horse is anemic or lacking key vitamins and minerals, try Red Cell from Horse Health Products. Only 1 oz is needed for horses in light or no work and 2 oz for performance horses. Each ounce of Red Cell provides 300 mg of chelated iron that is readily absorbed and used in the equine system. Can be fed in addition to other supplements that do not contain selenium. Red Cell provides sufficient selenium for horses. Higher levels can be detrimental so check your supplement ingredients carefully. May be given to donkeys and mules, too, but check with your vet for pregnant or lactating mares. Do not feed to sheep or other copper sensitive animals. Red Cell is an excellent source of nutrients like vitamins A and D, potassium, biotin, zinc, magnesium, copper, calcium, and thiamine.
