Decker Manufacturing creates the Decker brushes we know and love. Horse grooming brushes from Decker are barn favorites for their long-lasting performance and the variety of styles at a nice low price. Mary's Tack & Feed has carried Decker brushes for many years. We have a Decker brush for every grooming need, from the Decker Pride Mud Brush to the Decker Small Face Brush. These horse brushes are made with a durable base that has Decker's trademarked GRIP-FIT design for a comfortable, secure hand hold. Decker Soft Brushes, Medium Brushes, and Stiff Brushes all have a specific grooming purpose. Mary's has a Decker brush to remove mud and debris, groom sensitive areas like your horse's face and ears, remove dust, or achieve a fine coat finish before stepping into the show ring. In the spring, Decker's Metal Spiral Curry Combs are ideal for shedding and excess hair removal. The high quality and attention to detail help distinguish the Decker line of equine grooming tools.
Decker Manufacturing Company has its roots in Bushnell, Illinois, where "Captain" A.C. Decker first started making barbed wire in 1878. Six years later, Decker moved to Keokuk, Iowa, ultimately building a plant that was finished in 1911. Decker still operates out of this building at 312 Blondeau Street. Early on, the Decker company expanded its manufacturing to include agricultural products. Many of them are innovative patented items that represent improvements in efficiency and results. Decker Manufacturing Company makes their products in the USA, including equine brushes, industrial fasteners, and farm supplies. Decker even makes an Alligator Catcher. Just let us know if you need to special order that - Mary's Tack is always happy to help our customers get the supplies they need.
