Waldhausen Vaulting Surcingle
Vaulting Surcingle from Waldhausen is sturdy and durable for safety. A requirement for the equestrian sport of vaulting, the surcingle has three crimped leather handles covered with rubber that allow the performer to have a secure handhold. Waldhausen Vaulting Surcingle has leg loops, or cossack straps, on both sides and 5 hidden D-rings.

The girth component can be secured at both sides to allow a proper fit for each horse. The surcingle is thickly padded for a comfortable fit behind the withers. There is a channel to allow spine clearance. Waldhausen Vaulting Surcingle should be used with a pad for greater horse comfort. Horse size. White or Black (not shown).

Just what we wanted
This surcingle is perfect for our therapy riding program. The leather is a bit stiff, but with some oil and use it should become more flexible. I like that it does not cut into the horse's shoulder or elbow.
