MDC Comfort Stirrups
The MDC Comfort Stirrups allow changing the angle of the iron to create the best fit for you and your riding style. The innovative locking eye lets you set the angle at 45 degrees left, 45 degrees right, 90 degrees, or 0 degrees (neutral) to ensure the best feel for you. The preset angles improve leg, calf and foot position, relieve pressure on hips, knees and ankles, and reduce pinching and leg burns. MDC Comfort Stirrups are easy to retrieve, increasing confidence for better performance and safety.

MDC Comfort Stirrups promote better body alignment while reducing torque and pressure on the joints. The wide base has a cushioning rubber footbed with good traction. 45 Degrees seems to be the preferred angle for Show Jumpers and Event Riders; the stirrup leather will still apply pressure across the shin as a normal stirrup. 90 Degrees seems to be the preferred angle for many Dressage, Endurance, and Trail Riders as well as for general flat riding; at 90 degrees there is no leather pressure across the shin and the iron is completely open for retrieval.
