MELP is highly concentrated, biodegradable, and suitable for hand washing or machine washing. MELP is specially designed to retain the oils inherently found in sheepskin and lambskin products. This prevents the fleece and skin from drying out and cracking. Using Mattes MELP Detergent helps fleece stay soft and resilient. Use the smallest amount necessary, wash in cold water, then line dry out of direct sun.
