The lightweight, breathable Toklat Matrix T3 All Purpose Half Pad provides advanced impact protection to your horse with Pro-Impact Inserts. Unique saddle pad has an ergonomic elongated shape in front to support and protect the back and critical muscle groups while allowing increased shoulder mobility. The top fabric is ETC material that grips the saddle without friction, is moisture wicking, breathable, stain resistant, and easy to clean. Inserts are easily removable so the half pad can be machine washed and dried (do not wash inserts). With a choice of CoolBack or WoolBack lining, this great looking half pad is available for AP and Dressage saddles and works with any quilted square pad underneath.

Pro-Impact Inserts are a good choice for a horse with a well developed topline and/or a custom fitted saddle. These low profile inserts will not change the profile or fit of the saddle, allowing you to maintain more of a close contact feel. Works well for competition horses in consistent training programs. The Pro-Impact inserts in this pad are Poron XRD, a super thin (just 5 mm), breathable, lightweight high density foam. This technical material conforms to the horse's back and is flexible and protective, absorbing 90% of impact forces. Pro-Impact inserts cushion and support while reducing shocks felt by the rider, too. The result is a smoother, more comfortable, even ride that's easier on a rider's back and joints.

WoolBack is made of wool, which, like sheepskin, is a natural fiber. WoolBack is a 100% machine washable virgin wool that Toklat specifically designed for equestrian products. It has a 1" pile so it has good compression and is a little bit more resilient than sheepskin because of the way it is manufactured. It has the thermodynamic properties of sheepskin; it wicks about 20% of its weight in moisture, so it is really good at removing sweat from the horse's back. WoolBack will dissipate heat almost equally to sheepskin and also has the benefits of being machine washable and less expensive. White with Natural WoolBack.

CoolBack lining underneath the pad draws heat and moisture from your horse's back, keeping him cooler and drier. CoolBack is a practical and durable 100% polyester orthopedic fleece. Designed for equestrian use, the 1" high pile fleece is cool and soft against your horse's back. It maintains consistent thickness, loft, and quality with outstanding breathability and resilience. CoolBack is machine washable and dryer safe. Black or White.
