T3 Matrix Shim Western Pad - Ortho Impact

With the Toklat Matrix T3 Ortho Impact Pad you can protect your horse with incredible impact technology and cushioning comfort.The T3 is a western saddle pad with impact protection inserts and adjustment shims. The Ortho inserts, which include Poron XRD, cushion and absorb up to 90% of the energy transferred between horse and rider. Your horse moves freely, comfortably, and with a more rounded top line. You sit more securely with less bouncing in the saddle and reduced stress on your back and joints.

Ortho Impact Pad inserts are suitable for schooling and performance. The ortho pad is a two layer insert featuring an ultra-light, contouring layer of high density, shock absorbing Poron XRD. The other layer is 13mm of cushioning medium density viscoelastic foam. This is a great performance insert that can also help compensate for saddle fit and asymmetrical muscle development. Ortho-Impact protects the horse, minimizes shock felt by the rider, offers back relief and a more secure seat. Great choice for horses that are working on muscle development or older horses that have lost muscle.

The shims allow adjustments of saddle fit and compensation for imbalances. The pad comes with three full length pockets on both sides of the spine. Each pocket has two 1/4 inch felt shims for a total of 12 shims. Open the velcro closure along the spine of the pad to add or remove shims as needed.

A technologically advanced material prevents saddle slippage without friction. The felt lining is orthopedic grade and resists compression. The T3 is very lightweight, breathable, and ergonomically designed. A high profile gives optimal wither clearance while the cut-out side allows ideal close contact leg position.
