Jeremiah Watt Monterey Cheek Cricket Bit
Jeremiah Watt Monterey Cheek Cricket Bit features the popular frog mouthpiece with copper barrel roller. The swivel cheeks are a sweeping, elegant design with large teardrop shaped rein rings. Perfectly angled cheek rings prevent rubs and the entire bit has a wonderful weight for and custom look. Gorgeous bit for western pleasure competition! The Monterey cheek is 6 7/8" long for good leverage. The frog mouthpiece has a 1.5" high circular port with integrated copper barrel roller. The inside of the roller has patterned edges so when the horse plays with it, a whirring sound occurs, similar to the sound of a cricket. The interior bumpy edges do not come in contact with the horse's tongue.
The frog cricket mouthpiece also features 12 total strips of copper inlay. The roller and inlay encourage the horse to salivate and soften. The roller is nice for a busy-mouthed horse that needs to relax the jaw and accept the bit.
