Smoky Mountain Boots was founded by Bob Thorp in 1992 in Doraville, Georgia. Bob realized there was a need for Western boots that were high quality, stylish, and affordable. He took the time to listen to potential customers to understand what they wanted and needed in a Western boot. He researched the materials and manufacturing and came up with a plan. Since 1992, Smoky Mountain Boots has grown and thrived by keeping Bob Thorp's goal at the forefront of what they do.
