Franz-Heinrich Meyer was the driving force behind the creation of Pikeur. An enthusiastic equestrian, he took over his family's clothing business in 1957 and changed its focus to custom riding apparel. Originally called H.W. Meyer, the family business was producing uniforms and work clothing. Franz-Heinrich Meyer created equestrian clothing brand Haefner & Co in Uchte, Germany, which changed its name to Pikeur in 1964.
Pikeur has grown tremendously over the years and has a solid reputation for top quality, luxury touches, innovative materials, and superb fit. Pikeur has been the chosen outfitter of riding teams at the European and World Championships, the World Equestrian Games, and the Olympic Games. Riders at Mary's Tack & Feed appreciate our seasonal selections of jackets, vests, summer show shirts, and favorites like full seat and knee patch breeches. Mary's offers the lowest possible prices on Pikeur riding clothes for men, women, and children plus outstanding customer service.
