A TO Z HORSE COOKIES
A to Z Horse Cookies came about as a result of two horse owners who wanted a soft, nutritious treat for their horses. Cheryl's horse, Apache, and Marie's horse Zenne are where the A to Z name comes from. Apache was just 6 years old when he lost an eye, fractured two teeth, and developed TMJ. Apache couldn't eat hard treats anymore, including his favorite carrots. Cheryl also knew that horses lose enamel over time and do not eat hard foods in the wild, but graze on soft grasses.
Armed with knowledge and driven by the desire to create tasty treats for Apache, Cheryl experimented until she came up with the perfect formula, the Original Flavor A to Z Cookie. This low sugar molasses cookie is rich and moist yet low carb and low sugar. A to Z cookies are also free of alfalfa wheat, corn, and soy. Blonde Bits of Health is a different flavor, with anti-inflammatory cinnamon. These cookies are suitable for insulin resistant horses. A to Z Cookies is proud of its made in the USA products with simple ingredients and outstanding taste. How do we know they taste so good? We've all eaten them. We share them with our horses and they're wonderful to have on hand at the barn when you've stayed too long and forgotten to pack a snack. Don't worry, they are human grade ingredients!
