Nice but missing a key feature

The quality of construction is great. The quality of the leather is great. It's hard to find a device like this in a horse size, so I was happy to find it. Delivery was fast. BUT there is no way to secure this device to the bridle crownpiece! The strap that goes over the poll should attach to the bridle to keep it in place. Comparable devices (unfortunately only available in pony size) use sewn-in pieces of velcro for this purpose. I had to use string for this one which is ridiculous considering the price. I thought maybe the strap was supposed to go through the loops in the browband, right on top of the crownpiece. But 1) the strap is too thick to fit through that loop and 2) it would place the metal rings of the device way too low along the horse's face. So I don't know how Tory Leather thought this was supposed to work. Hard to say whether I would recommend this or not since that's such a glaring design error, suggesting that the manufacturer never tested this with real users prior to selling it.
