SCENT-A-TACK
Scent-a-Tack began in 2001 in Santa Monica, California, where equestrian Kristin Polidoro began her quest to create a gentle, yet effective moisturizing leather cleaner. Using all-natural ingredients and her own recipes, she crafted batch after batch until she developed the perfect saddle soap. Her homemade formula is a perfectly balanced leather cleaner-conditioner that leaves tack feeling soft and supple. The addition of wonderful scents adds to the unique nature of Kristin's leather care products. Originally available in saddle soap bars, then plastic jars, Scent-a-Tack is now available at Mary's in recyclable tin jars that are the perfect size for any tack trunk or gear bag.
The delectable aromas come with whimsical names like Galloping Grapefruit, Cinnamon Dapple, Vanilly Filly, and Blackberry Marey. The Scent-a-Tack logo is based on Kristin's beloved horse Don Niki, her long-time friend and partner in hunter/jumpers, dressage, and eventing. He has crossed the rainbow bridge, but his sweetness and effervescence are captured by the logo, inspiring and reminding people to find the fun in everything!
