These boots really helped to heal up my horse's chronic bedsores. Even in the muddy Oregon winter the inside stays nice and dry against his legs -- I have two pairs so that he doesn't have to go without when it's time for washing. I wash them every 1-2 weeks, and they clean up really well. I was worried about uneven pressure on the back of his tendons with the design of these boots, but I found if you do up the bottom strap fairly tight then you can leave the top plenty loose and they won't slip down. 4 stars not 5 because the fleece on both pairs has ripped slightly where the velcro is sewn on top, the bottom strap is starting to fray, and the fleece is a getting a little thin on my older pair in the spot that he needs protection. I'm sure they'll still work for many more months though!
