Neue Schule Turtle Tactio Loose Ring with TongueSMART design focuses pressure to the center of the tongue rather than the sensitive bars. The jointed bit has a linking lozenge, the "Turtle", that links the sections of the mouthpiece closely. The Turtle Tactio also utilizes the Flex concept of having a wider, flatter surface that lies across the tongue, reducing pressure.
Neue Schule loose ring bit is engineered to work with a sensitive or larger tongue comfortably. The mouthpiece metal is Salox Gold, a softer, warmer metal that doesn't create tastes or aromas that can distract a horse from the task at hand. The Turtle Tactio Loose Ring bit has a 16mm mouth.
