Neue Schule Transform Weymouth bit is recommended for the horse with an overactive mouth that does not focus well on the rein aids. The mouthpiece of the Transform Weymouth has a slight convex arc that rotates back at 45 degress when the curb rein is engaged. The curb chain (included with bit) comes into action at that point, preventing over-rotation, and then the mouthpiece rotates forward so it becomes vertical in the mouth.
