The Nathe CM Mullen 3-Ring Bit from Herm Sprenger features a high, smooth, rounded and forward angled port that does not apply palate pressure. Depending on the rein placement, the 3-Ring gag exerts pressure on the tongue, poll, and lower jaw. It is suitable for horses that tend to push forward, and provides more control over evading the aids by pushing upward, becoming strong, and being difficult to regulate.

This Nathe CM Mullen 3-Ring is the Soft version from Herm Sprenger with smooth, comfortable, gentle thermoplastic over a steel core. The innovative softer, flexible version yields under increased pressure and allows for finer control of the aids. The mouthpiece has slanted transitions to the side and is tapered toward the center, making it suitable for horses with fleshy tongues. Due to the mouthpiece material the Nathe CM Mullen 3-Ring Bit is not eligible for the Mary's Bit Rental program.
