JEREMIAH WATT PRODUCTS
Jeremiah Watt creates gorgeous handcrafted horse bits that are practical and durable as well as beautiful. Jeremiah started his tack-making career by first learning the art of saddle making at an Amarillo, Texas school in 1976. He and his wife, Colleen, eventually opened their own tack business. Jeremiah taught himself how to engrave so he could add silver trim to his Western saddles. That led to designing and making custom spurs and bits.
Jeremiah Watt is an expert at engraving, leather work, and blending unique artistry with classic Old West traditions. The native of Ontario, Canada now lives and works in central California and is an avid cyclist and photographer. He generously shares his talent and knowledge as an instructor at GRS Tools and has partnered with Weaver Leather to create a line of bits. He makes completely custom museum-quality saddles from the tree to the silver fittings that are truly works of art.
Mary's is honored to offer our customers several styles of Jeremiah Watt bits with unique mouthpieces and cheeks. There are loose ring, eggbutt, and shank styles and all are crafted to exacting standards of function and form. The bits are stamped with JWP, Jeremiah Watt Products, to personally guarantee the superior quality.
