Herm Sprenger WH Ultra Soft Loose Ring. The Herm Sprenger WH Ultra Soft, developed by Lisa Wilcox and Ernst Hoyos together with Sprenger, is a double-jointed bit that features a unique roller in the center section. This roller provides gentle stimulation to the tongue, encouraging the horse to chew, prompting salivation, allowing acceptance of the bit, and therefore relaxation of the jaw. The WH Ultra Soft is a new variation of this bit. The center section is covered with a durable, yet soft rubber, which helps introduce a horse more easily to the bit and prevents tongue problems and tooth-grinding.
