The Bemelmans Weymaouth 5cm bit has a quicker effect while the 7cm version has a softer curb action that is slightly delayed once the rein is engaged. The longer cheek will increase overall pressure on the poll and neck. Sensogan metal is an alloy of copper, manganese, and zinc that oxidizes for a pleasing flavor. It has less copper in the alloy than Aurigan. The Bemelmans Weymouth 5cm and 7cm bits were developed with Sprenger rider Jean Bemelmans, who wanted a bit to reflect the needs of horse and rider while respecting the sensitivity of the horse's mouth. Sprenger Bemelmans Weymouth comes with a curb chain which should be adjusted so it can accept an angle of approximately 45 degrees. This Herm Sprenger Bemelmans Weymouth Bit is eligible for Mary's Bit Rental Program. Click now for details!
