Helite Saddle Strap
The Helite Saddle Strap is a necessary component of the Helite Zip'In 2 Airbag system. A properly installed saddle strap ensures that the airbag will deploy in case of a fall. The lanyard attached to the CO2 cartridge inside the vest must be attached to this saddle strap and not to any other part of the saddle. The Helite Saddle Strap is easy to install without special tools or technical knowledge. The Helite Saddle Strap is one size to work with both adult and child size Zip'In 2 Airbag Vests. If you ride in different saddles it is recommended to have a Saddle Strap installed on each saddle for greater convenience.

To install the Helite Saddle Strap, remove the stirrup irons and leathers from the saddle. Attach each loop end of the saddle strap to the stirrup bars. You may need to loosen the saddle strap to reach the stirrup bars. Put the stirrups back on. Be sure to adjust the saddle strap and lanyard properly. To do so, get on your horse with the airbag and stand up in the stirrups. If the saddle strap is at the proper length, there will be very little stretch from the lanyard.
