The Carl Titanium Loose Ring mouthpiece from Fager is similar to a French link with a short, flat center piece. The center link lies flat on the tongue and won't interfere with the palate. The double jointed mouthpiece spreads pressure across a wider surface, following the contour of the tongue. This makes it a good choice for horses that are sensitive to bit pressure, inconsistent with contact, and sometimes pull or lean.
