Commonwealth Felt Saddle Pad
This saddle pad is so close to being great. But I'm giving it 3 stars. It is really expensive and I expected it to be a thicker/tighter weave. If you are thinking western saddle pad just thinner, you would be wrong. This is a felt cloth that is very bendy--just like a regular saddle pad. It compresses to almost nothing. I personally think it should be a little thicker OR have a tighter weave that doesn't compress so much. The girth loops are in the wrong spot. They really need to be further forward--maybe an inch and a half. I will be taking this to have the girth loops moved forward. It is a very nice saddle pad with a well thought out design (except the girth loops).
