The Chifney Bit Snap is a horse tack accessory that's used to attach the chifney bit to your horse's halter. This allows for greater control during leading. The chifney, or chiffney as it's sometimes spelled, is primarily a racehorse bit that is not used for riding. It's a metal semicircle bit that is useful for preventing a horse from rearing. The chifney snap is attached to the rings on the side of the bit and to the halter. The chifney bit is often seen at the track, at thoroughbred stud farms, or other breed stud farms where stallions get a little feisty. Recommended for use on leather halters. The chifney clip is a nickle plated chrome color with spring action. Sold as singles.
