Monel is a nickel alloy that is very hard, resists corrosion, and will not flake. A fun fact to impress your riding buddies, Monel is named for its developer, Ambrose Monell. The brass tone Monel has a slightly different tinge to it than ordinary brass and, like stainless steel, is highly durable. It is resistant to sea air if you happen to live near the coast. Cashel Monel Stirrups are practical, durable, and comfortable for everyday use.
