Cody's Wish is a bay Thoroughbred stallion foaled at Gainsborough Farm in 2018. That year, a young Kentucky boy named Cody Dorman visited the farm. Cody had a genetic disorder and Make-A-Wish fulfilled his dream of meeting a racehorse. During the visit a weanling walked right up to Cody and rested his head in his lap. Inspired by the connection between the two, the owners named the colt Cody’s Wish. The horse went on to win the 2022 and 2023 Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile plus many stakes races with Cody in attendance. On November 5, 2023, one day after Cody's Wish's repeat victory at the Breeders' Cup, Cody Dorman suffered a medical event while returning home to Kentucky and died at the age of 17.
 
Breyer is making a $10,000 donation to Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
