Founded in 1986, Mrs. Pastures has been making horses happy for 30 years. Mrs. Pastures created a treat for horses from natural ingredients with no preservatives. The handy little cookies quickly became a favorite of horses and ponies, as well as their owners. Mrs. Pastures Cookies for Horses started with one woman, Patricia Burge, who wanted to make her own horse happy. After months of mixing, baking, and improving, Patricia hit on the winning recipe that Poncho the horse approved of. At 66 years of age, Patricia formally founded her company and watched it grow to a nationally recognized leader in the horse treat business. The crunchy horse cookies have become a favorite of countless horses and ponies, including Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner California Chrome. Mrs. Pastures is still an owner operated company that values its product and customers.
