3M
It's the rare person who hasn't heard of the 3M Company. From Scotch® Tape to Post-it® Notes, 3M has invented numerous products for businesses, homes, schools, and industries. The name comes from Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company, which had a very humble start in 1902. Their efforts to make sandpaper were unsuccessful until the invention of 3M™ Three-M-ite™ Abrasive Cloth in 1914. Many more products followed and 3M achieved overwhelming success.
Legally called 3M since 2002, the company prides itself on solutions to improve the people's daily lives. Horse owners benefit from 3M products like VetRap, Animalintex Poultice Pads, Animalintex Hoof Pads, and Temflex Vinyl Electrical Tape. You might even purchase clothing with Thinsulate, one of the more than 100,000 patents granted to 3M. The company employs thousands of researchers and scientists around the world to create technology for a multitude of uses. Hopefully, more equine products are on the way!
