Beris Bits are made in Germany with the primary focus on protecting the horse's mouth. Beris Bits improve equine comfort while still providing effective communication and control for the rider. There are a variety of mouthpieces and bit cheeks available, including the innovative Beris Comfort Bar and Tongue Port mouthpieces and the Kombi style gag bit.
The soft, flexible food-safe Beris plastic mouthpieces encourage the horse to relax. The material is warm, unlike metal, and is more readily accepted by sensitive horses. The bit rings are threaded through copper sockets that increase the longevity of the bit and ensure smooth movement. The metal parts of Beris horse bits are hand made, welded, and polished for the highest quality result. The bits are rigorously tested for strength and durability. Beris Bits are suitable for recreational riding as well as competition. While not eligible for the Mary's Bit Rental Program, the Mary's Tack & Feed staff is well trained on Beris Bits.
