ALLON
Nick Collins is the driving force behind Pacific Saddlery and Allon. The story of Allon began in 1999, sparked by Collins' dissatisfaction with the existing options for show coats. He designed his first competition coat for show jumper Hap Hansen, a statement piece that embodied elegance and performance. Collins elevated the standard of equestrian apparel, from local shows to the Olympics, while respecting the traditions of the sport. The name Allon is derived from the French "allons", meaning "let's go!" Military buffs may even know that Allons is the motto of the U.S. Army 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment.
With a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and the equestrian lifestyle, Nick Collins turned his talents to English horse tack, and Pacific Saddlery was born. Pacific Saddlery is based in Temecula, California, not all that far from Mary's Tack. The Allon brand now features bridles for hunters and jumpers, reins, martingales, halters, and leads that are handcrafted with the show horse in mind. With leather sourced from a small tannery in England, and great attention to detail, every aspect of Allon horse tack speaks of luxury and commitment to excellence. Pacific Saddlery leather tack feels wonderful in your hand and looks beautiful on your horse, representing the perfect blend of tradition, performance, and a fresh perspective.
