5 Star Equine Products, located in Hatfield, Arkansas, has been a family-owned and operated business since 1998. Vern and Laurel Wells started the company based on an innovative natural wool felt saddle pad design backed by outstanding customer service. After Vern passed away, Laurel continued the journey, refining the saddle pads and establishing a reputation for uncompromising quality.
In 2012, the 5 Star torch was passed to Terry Moore, a local horseman who bought the company with a promise never to compromise the standards set by its founders. Terry, his wife, Julia, and daughter Rachel share a passion for horses, and understand the importance of horse comfort, especially for training and competition. They combine premium materials and craftsmanship so that you and your horse experience the best in comfort and performance.
