Grand Circuit White Lightning Hoof Soak Solution
Grand Circuit White Lightning is a highly effective solution for treating White Line Disease, thrush, seedy toe, abscesses, and hoof rot. White Lightning is recommended by farriers and hoof care experts for tackling hoof problems and getting results. White Lightning is a solution that you mix with an equal part of white vinegar to produce chlorine dioxide, plus water. Chlorine dioxide is very aggressive in neutralizing bacteria, fungus and yeast. You only mix as much as you need for each treatment.
- Mix with white vinegar (not included)
- 8 oz, 64oz
- Treats bacteria, fungus, yeast
Mix 2 ounces White Lightning and 2 ounces white vinegar. Then add enough water to cover approximately one half inch up the hoof wall. Do not use a metal container. Mix only what you plan to use each time. The mixture becomes inert after 8 hours and will not work as intended. Start with a clean hoof. Use a hoof soaking boot or heavy plastic bag that can be secured at the top to prevent fumes from escaping. The fumes are actually key to penetrating the hoof wall! Do not use this product in an open bucket. A hoof soak of at least 15 minutes and up to 45 minutes is recommended.
Hoof soak can be repeated 2-3 times per week for 4-6 weeks then 1-2 times per week until hoof has completely grown out. Maintenance treatment of once a month will help keep White Line Disease from recurring. Do not mix White Lightning with any other products, remedies, or liquids other than white vinegar and water. This is chemistry, folks.
