Myler Forward Tilt Low Ported Loose Ring Bit has an MB 36 mullen mouth with barrel. This slightly ported curved mullen bit offers more tongue relief than a Level 1 or 2 Myler bit. The 1 1/4" port with barrel applies pressure when the reins are actively engaged. It's a corrective mouthpiece that applies some tongue pressure while giving good tongue relief and encourages the horse to give. It also incorporates more bar, poll, and chin pressure than Level 1 or 2 bits.
This bit is eligible for Mary's Bit Rental Program. Click now for details!
Level 2-3 Myler bits are created for horses that have a good foundation, good disposition, and can handle additional tongue relief. Also a good choice for horses that are further along in training but have disposition challenges, like anxiety, aggression, and fear. Stainless steel bit has copper inlay to encourage salivation and softening. This bit is USEF dressage legal only. It is NOT FEI dressage legal or USEA eventing dressage legal. Myler recommends consulting your organization's rule book for accurate information.

To determine your horse's Myler bit size, use a wooden dowel or spoon handle where the bit would go. When horse is relaxed, mark the wood and measure between the two marks. If between sizes, go up to the next size to allow proper fit (at least 1/8"-1/4" of bit showing on each side of mouth)
