The Lara Tweedie brand represents the expertise and excellence of the woman behind it, Dr. Larissa Tweedie. Lara Tweedie is an equine veterinarian in Melbourne, Australia, and an avid dressage competitor. She developed an extensive line of anatomical dressage bridles that focuses on horse comfort without sacrificing quality and aesthetics. Lara Tweedie Equestrian bridles at Mary's include dressage snaffle bridles and double bridles. All bridles come complete with high quality Italian leather reins. Some of the bridles have an anatomical crown piece that relieves pressure at the sensitive poll area. Others have the unique Anti-Gravity crown piece that helps create a weightless, effortless feel. There are several nosebands to choose, including the Essential and Glam in shiny patent leather. Lara Tweedie worked closely with accomplished dressage competitor and trainer Catherine Haddad Staller to develop bridles that are comfortable, effective, address performance issues, and are attractive for competition or schooling.
