With no petroleum products or lacquers that can block the natural moisture balance in the hoof, Farriers' Fix works well on barefoot horses and dry or brittle hooves.

Farriers' Fix Hoof Oil has tested negative under FEI guidelines and can be used prior to any competition. If your horse has hoof issues, including sore feet, quarter cracks, laminitis or thrush, apply Farriers' Fix to the clean and dry hoof exterior, sole and frog every day. Let the hoof oil absorb for 5 - 10 minutes before putting your horse back in his stall. For maintenance use, apply Farriers' Fix to your horse's clean and dry hooves (exterior, sole and frog) three times a week
