It rests on the tongue for the horse to play with but also prevents the horse from grabbing onto the bit and holding. The Sally mouthpiece works well for horses that feel heavy, stiff, and evade or lean on the bit. This bit allows clearer communication, delivering pressure when needed with a lighter hand.
