Breyer The Ideal Series Orren Mixer Pinto
This Breyer Ideal Orren Mixer Pinto model is the seventh in the Ideal Series. The Breyer Ideal Series pays homage to the artwork of Orren Mixer (1920-2008) and his famed “ideal” horse breed paintings. Over the course of Mixer’s career, seven horse breed associations commissioned him to paint their breed’s ideal. These images have cemented Mixer’s place as one of history’s preeminent equine artists.

Pintos, horses with large white patches on their coats, are found in a variety of breeds. The painting “Pinto” was commissioned by the Pinto Horse Association in the year 2000 and showcases the variety of breed types and disciplines pinto horses can be found in. This model was inspired by the stately bay pinto American Saddlebred from the painting.
