The leather-covered surface can encourage salivation, support relaxation, and help promote a steadier connection. Short shanked pelham cheeks allow leverage when needed.

Leather Covered Morph Baby Pelham Bit features a moldable stainless steel wire core that can be shaped to follow the natural curve of the horse’s mouth. It can be readjusted whenever needed. Around that core are layers of nylon, leather, padding, and a soft outer leather finish. The stitching is kept flat and positioned toward the outside to help reduce friction and avoid rubbing at the lips. The Leather Covered Morph mouthpiece is adaptable and more forgiving in feel than a traditional fixed metal design. Due to the mouthpiece material, this bit is not eligible for the Mary's Bit Trial.
