Ogilvy Original Sheepskin Jump Half Pad has Ogilvy's famous V-shape for perfect accommodation of your horse's withers and proper placement on the back. Material is friction-free, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, and moisture wicking. The amazing memory foam provides excellent shock absorption for the horse and rider. Pressure is evenly distributed, while any saddle gaps are filled to create a better fit. This close contact half pad is lined with fleece in the front, along the back sides (behind saddle flap), and along the back. The Ogilvy Sheepskin Jump Half Pad does not have fleece on the underside.

Ogilvy sheepskin jump half pad
This is a beautiful pad! But I agree with the other review that the sizing is a little bit disappointing. I ordered the 17/17.5 for my 17.5 saddle and my saddle covers most of the fleece trim. So you don’t get the fluffy look around in the saddle that I had imagined. I would definitely recommend ordering a size up .

Like a Cloud!
I love riding in Ogilvy pads because my horses go better in them. They warm up faster, are more through, and seem happier to use their backs. I have saddles specifically fit to my horses, and even with that, they still go better when I use an Ogilvy pad. The sheepskin roll is a nice touch and helps keep the panels centered on the pad. The brown is lovely and doesn't show as much wear as the lighter colors.
