The copper link in the center of the mouthpiece also encourages your horses to salivate and soften on the bit because his taste buds are situated in the center of the tongue. The rest of the stainless mouthpiece stands up well to your horse's teeth preventing the damage sometimes found in an all copper mouthpiece. The Sweet copper has very high copper composition combined with very high strength. The rings of this bit measure 85x65mm with a mouthpiece thickness of 14mm.
