The outer shell of the helmet is molded ABS that is light but impact resistant. The shell is covered with a smooth material that is scratch resistant, waterproof, and easy to clean. The chin strap is a soft faux leather that is hypoallergenic, washable, and prevents skin irritation. The closure is secure and the chin strap design eliminates excess strap from hanging down and getting in the way.

Inside the KASK Star Lady Helmet is a comfortable inner padding that is made with pure merino wool. Merino wool is a natural fiber that is antibacterial, thermo-regulating, and breathable. The padded lining can be removed for washing and replaced if necessary. The lightweight expanded polystyrene inner shell utilizes three levels of density for superior shock absorption. In addition to the light weight, the shock absorption, and the sun protection, the Star Lady Helmet has KASK's exclusive honeycomb-style aeration grids integrated in the polystyrene. Air enters the helmet through the outer grid and flows through the interior to cool the head for excellent comfort.
