Breyer Traditional Shire Horse
Breyer Traditional Shire is a wonderful draft horse model of a lovely grey Shire with fancy plaited mane. The Shire horse was bred in the United Kingdom for farming and hauling. These gentle giants average 17.2-19.2 hands and their weight can exceed 2,000 pounds. Today, the Shire is more commonly found in the show ring or used for pleasure driving. The breed is listed as critically endangered by The Livestock Conservancy.
The Breyer Shire model is in the 1:9 Traditional scale and is a handsome dappled grey with white feathers and elegant mane and tail. This proud and regal model will make a unique addition to a Breyer horse collection or a great gift for a horse-loving kid!
