Breyer Sable Island Horse

The new Breyer Sable Island Horse represents a breed many people haven't even heard of. This handsome horse is part of a small population of horses living on Canada's Sable Island. There are generally only 200-500 feral horses in the population.

The Sable Island Horse descended from stock brought to the island in the 1700s for grazing purposes. They are pony size, approximately 13-14 hands. Though small, they have a big presence with their dark coats, powerful legs, and impressive manes and tails. This unique horse makes a wonderful Traditional Breyer model to add to a collection and for free spirited play.
