Meet Sir Rugged Chex, a handsome sorrel AQHA gelding whose barn name is Checkers. Checkers competes in Mountain Trail, a relatively new equine sport founded in 2001. Skilled horses and riders negotiate natural obstacles on challenging trails with 3 levels of difficulty for competition. All ages, horse breeds, and backgrounds participate in this unique and growing equestrian sport.
