The name Cowgirl Tuff embodies the spirit and tenacity of Lisa Bollin, founder of this Western clothing company. Cowgirl Tuff makes Western jeans, shirts, tees, and ball caps with authentic cowgirl style and attitude. Lisa Bollin founded Cowgirl Tuff in 1999, operating out of the back of a trailer in Litchfield, Minnesota. Lisa sold her screen printed tops at barrel racing events around the country. Her shirts proved to be so popular she couldn't keep up with demand. Just five years after her humble start, Lisa began her wholesale business. Now, women can find Cowgirl Tuff clothing at Mary's Tack and Feed, in store and online.
In addition to the cute tops that started the whole thing, Cowgirl Tuff jeans have made a big impact. Lisa wanted comfortable, stylish Western jeans for herself and for other riders who had trouble finding the right pair. She created Cowgirl Tuff jeans in 2008 and the fantastic fit, quality, and stylish embellishments have made them a wardrobe staple for our western ladies. Mary's also carries Cowgirl Tuff clothing for girls, including lifestyle tees and jeans. From the back of a trailer to the Del Mar superstore Mary's Tack & Feed, Cowgirl Tuff has grown to one of the leading brands of women's western apparel. Still based in Minnesota, this female-run business lives by the motto found on its labels and clothing designs - "Even though you've been bucked, kicked, bit & stomped... NEVER GIVE UP!" Shop Mary's Tack for our seasonal selection of Cowgirl Tuff fashions as well as our year-round offering of great-fitting Cowgirl Tuff riding jeans.
