KL Select Red Barn Calf Lined Reins are a soft, calfskin wrapped rein with Buckle or Hook-Stud/Pin ends. Black leather reins from KL Select have a wonderful feel and look. Red Barn Calf Lined Reins are 5/8" wide and have stainless steel fittings.
For years, I have used another high end brand of these calf lined reins for twice or more the price. These are literally identical and it makes me wonder if they come from the same vendor and get stamped with different marks, one looking like a famous arch in France and the other stamped Red Barn. For the extra hundred plus or so dollars I still have in my pocket, I am glad mine say Red Barn.
