In this 16 mm mouth, the Herm Sprenger's KK Ultra Loose Ring has been improved using scientific studies of the anatomy of the horse's mouth. The resulting improvements include the center-link shortened so as not to put pressure on the palate and fixed at a 45 degree angle so that it rests only on the tongue without squeezing it.
