    I was skeptical that these would work, but thought it'd be worth a try: amazingly for my first two rides using the prescribed amount, my gelding was not grinding ! I also changed bits from a KK to a Myler loose ring comfort snaffle before trying the Gumbits, which he seemed to like better, but still did some grinding. The combo of the Myler bit and the Gumbits seems to do the trick. (fingers crossed it will continue that way) He LOVES the GumBits, but as many other reviewers mentioned, they are difficult to "serve" since they roll out of the mouth very easily and bounce all over the floor. I'd give the product 5 stars if they could design the shape so they were easier for the horse to eat without dropping them everywhere-- especially at this price.
